Library cards are free to obtain and only require proof of residency in the area (I.D. or mail addressed to your local residence) and some basic information. Children as young as 5yrs may sign up as well with a parent/guardian present. Library cards provide free access to not only books/DVDs/puzzles etc, but an array of outstanding resources such as free online classes, other Yavapai County Library items, Ancestry research, digital materials, and much more. "Chino Reads!" - The Chino Valley Public Library will be offering book recommendations in honor of the Town of Chino Valley's 50th Anniversary...Find out which treasured books our town staff love and recommend.
At the front check out desk and on our town’s social media there will be a different flyer each week featuring a favorite book of a town employee. “Chino Reads” will last for 50 weeks (approximately a year leading up to the postponed 50th celebration next Sept. 2021) Books can be from adult/young adult/juvenile/children collections. You may check books out or place a hold on any using your library card.
